  • Quebec’s initiative to help immigrants learn French language

    As French language is an essential for Quebec immigration, the Government of Quebec has eased the learning of French by organizing Free French language learning classes for foreign nationals willing to settle in Quebec. Immigration Minister of Quebec, Kathleen Weil said “French is an essential vector of integration, for socio-professional integration of immigrants.” Sources reveal that the Quebec government has planned to invest over $750,000 in this program and plans to launch the learning program in 11 different languages for the ease of immigrants migrating to Quebec from different countries. The government shall be using platforms like social media, community websites, radio, television, and newspapers for the promotion of this program. The first stage of this promotional campaign is expected to roll out by the end of August.
